The AGOG

Home to The Nine Barrels Restaurant, AGOG Gallery & The Q Club

The AGOG, Home of the Curious is a social and cultural institution that combines the art of wine, food, contemporary art, performing arts, music, whisky and gin into one uniquely positioned space in the heart of the inner city. Open from Wednesday to Sunday. Our signature is the hosting of curated events for individuals and/or corporates using the  4 floors of the building to offer a unique walking dinner/lunch experience, art walk about, music, performances, and an inner city rooftop ambiance.

On the ground floor is our restaurant and wine bar called The Nine Barrels that is open for lunch and dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, with a wide selection of wines by the glass. The food menu is inspired by avocados but also has a selection of contemporary style tapas, main courses and desserts.

The rooftop of The AGOG called The Q Club is our signature inner city space that hosts the whisky bar, gin bar and live performance stage. It is also the resident space for The Q Club membership that includes, whisky & gin club members and their locker spaces.

AGOG Gallery is one of the few contemporary art galleries in the inner city that focuses on the curation and rotational exhibitions of young as well as established African contemporary artists.

Find us for your private parties, day conferences, think tank sessions, corporate functions, or simply join us for a light meal, full dinner, a glass of wine, whisky or gin, or perhaps to simply acquire some of our contemporary art selections..
